These addressable RGB LED strips give you pixel-by-pixel control over color and brightness across the entire tape. The WS2812B version runs on DC 5V power and features integrated WS2812 IC chips built directly into each 5050 SMD LED. You can choose between three density options: 30, 60, or 144 LEDs per meter depending on your project's needs. Power consumption ranges from 9W per meter at 30 LEDs up to 43.2W per meter for the densest 144 LED configuration. Each LED is independently controlled with 8-bit color depth, giving you 256 shades per color channel for smooth gradients and transitions. The 120-degree beam angle provides good light spread for most applications. The strips come in standard 5-meter rolls with flexible PCB backing and 3-pin connectors for easy installation. You have options for protection levels: IP30 for basic use indoors, or IP67 waterproof versions if you need silicone tubing encapsulation for outdoor or wet environments. The alternative WS2811 variant operates on 12V power instead and groups LEDs in sets of three per IC control point, offering 30 or 60 LED density options with similar 5050 SMD LED quality. Both versions support digital control through compatible programmable controllers sold separately. Note that the strips come without a power supply or controller included, so you'll need to source those based on your specific setup and desired lighting effects.
