It connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network through the My Leviton app with no hub required. The switch supports Matter protocol via firmware update, so it works with Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Home, SmartThings, Sonos, and Resideo for a truly connected home. Installation is straightforward since it replaces your existing switch and fits in standard wall boxes thanks to its slim design. The switch handles up to 15 amps and 3/4 horsepower, making it suitable for lights, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, motors, and pumps. For 3-way setups, pair it with either the wired DD0SR Switch Companion or the wire-free DAWSC Anywhere Switch Companion to control the same light from multiple locations. A neutral wire connection is required for proper operation. Smart features include scheduling exterior lights to turn on at sunset, setting random on-off patterns when you're away to simulate occupancy, and auto-shutoff timers for specific rooms like closets and bathrooms.
