The Transcend RDF5 is a dual-slot card reader that handles both full-size SD cards and microSD cards in one compact device. It connects via USB 3.1 Type-A, which means fast transfer speeds for photos, videos, and other files. Even though it's USB 3.1, it stays backward compatible with older USB 2.0 connections, so it'll work with just about any computer you plug it into. This reader supports a wide range of card formats including SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards. It can work with UHS-II cards but operates at UHS-I speeds. There's an LED indicator that shows when a card is inserted and lights up during data transfers, so you'll know exactly what's happening. The reader draws power directly from the USB port, so no separate power adapter is needed. Transcend includes RecoveRx data recovery software with this reader, which is helpful if you ever accidentally delete files you need to get back.
