The Leviton Decora Smart Dimmer ZW6HD-1RW brings Z-Wave 800 Series connectivity to your home lighting setup. This dimmer replaces your existing wall switch and gives you remote access and voice control through any compatible Z-Wave hub. The slim design makes installation straightforward, and it works with single pole or 3-way configurations by pairing with optional Wired Dimmer or Switch Companions. Full range dimming works across dimmable LED, CFL, incandescent, halogen, and MLV bulbs. You can customize fade rates to gradually turn lights on or off, or set preset light levels so your fixtures always turn on at your preferred brightness. The dimmer has built-in settings to prevent flickering with compatible LED bulbs, which is especially helpful if you've had trouble with LED compatibility issues in the past. Beyond controlling individual rooms, this dimmer strengthens your entire Z-Wave mesh network by acting as a repeater. It supports SmartStart enrollment and S2 Security encryption for smooth setup and reliable connectivity. The unit is backwards compatible with any existing Z-Wave network you may have. Optional DDKIT faceplates come in six colors if you want to customize the appearance. Installation requires basic wiring knowledge, and the device includes wire leads to simplify the process.
